I specialize in the study and discovery of ancient civilizations; the machines are more a means to an end - though I admit to a longtime fascination with them, they aren't my primary focus. The disguises, on the other hand, are usually a matter of necessity, utilized once someone gets a bit too close to what I'm doing or needs to be convinced to cooperate - or at the very least, convinced to not interfere.

It all ties in; some of it is just a bit more roundabout than the rest.
