[[Hope you're having fun this fine day, Johto, because a charming little video just hit the network. It's centered inside a quaint-looking cottage, and the main character appears to be a female Team Rocket grunt, one hand on her hip, the other twirling a strand of long red hair between her gloved fingers. There's a smirk on her rather heavily made-up face, red lipstick standing out against pale skin. Around her are four male grunts, standing to attention and looking generally threatening. One of the grunts has a young girl in a headlock. An old man is standing before the redheaded woman, fists clenched and a look of panicked fury on his face, in part due to the Gengar floating around him, cackling.]]

Give me the information I desire, and no-one has to get hurt.

[[The old man snarls angrily, but as soon as that grunt tightens his hold on the young girls neck, he relents, quickly moving over to a bookshelf and pulling out two large volumes, thrusting them at the female grunt. She takes them in a generally classy manner, flicking through the pages with an intense expression in her green eyes. As she appears to stumble upon something rather useful, said eyes light up in a rather horrid way.]]

There. That wasn't so hard, was it? I'm going to leave my good friend here to make sure you behave yourself for a little while, okay?

[[Blowing the furious old man a kiss, the female grunt smirks and tosses her hair over her shoulder, snapping her fingers. The grunt holding the girl promptly drops her, and the group of them file out after her.

The Gengar, however, stays behind, cackling as the feed ends.]]

[ACTION]

[[Walking through the Team Rocket base in Goldenrod, the same redheaded woman chuckles darkly to herself, her upload to the feed complete. She'd left her Gengar with Kurt in Azalea Town to ensure he didn't go to the police before she made it safely back to the base, but now that she's here, it's time to spread a little panic.

As she strides towards the lab, she grabs a fistful of hair and whips off that red wig to reveal-!

....well in all honesty it looks like a green-haired woman who was wearing a red wig BUT NO it's the manly Doctor Kato! He strides purposefully into his lab and tosses a pair of books onto the nearest bench, before seating himself on a stool in a manner that shows he is far too comfortable in that miniskirt.

Oh, and he's still got a full face of make-up on, of course.]]

Mission accomplished. I should be able to find some good information from these tomes; the old man is quite the prolific writer.

I have that egg you want. Come and see me in my lab, and I'll give it to you.

[[OOC: Kato will be putting that wig back on for all replies to the video!]]

[Upon seeing a beauty walking in the base, Ren thought "finally there's more women in Team Rocket". Of course, he'd be happy to approach and talk to her--

... but how cruel can the reality be, when he sees the woman taking her wig off... and there's the familiar, stupid looking haircut he recognizes all too well.

Sigh.

Though it doesn't stop him from commenting at him. He's slightly bored, after all.]

I do hope you've trained your Pokemon up a little. I was worried Pluto was going to eat him.

[The real question is: why wouldn't they?

Though Kato does remind him of a teacher they have back home... even if said teacher did the whole girly change better.]

There's not need to worry about that. [There's a real girl making sure he does... which should probably be embarrassing, but Ren finds it pleasant.] Just focus on your own so I won't go ahead of you.

[[Ah, but he does it with such flair~! It's hard looking this damn good, Ren.

At that comment, however, he laughs. Rather loudly.]]

I didn't realise you had such a sense of humour! Do tell another one.

[Talk to someone who actually likes this sort of stuff, Kato.

Though he just smiles at him laughing.]

It's always a pleasure to offer entertainment, but you might be surprised, one day. [... or maybe not, but hey, he doesn't want to sound like a loser.]

[[You can have a rather thin-lipped smile at that, Ren.]]

Perhaps I will be. Although now I'll be disappointed if I'm not.

[Oh, great.]

Then I'll have to make sure you won't be.

[... or make sure he's no longer a Rocket when that 'one day' comes so he doesn't have to stand his disappointment as a teammate.]

[[Kato laughs again, although this time it's soft, and he scratches the ears of a small Zorua that has wandered across the bench.]]

I do hope you mean no disrespect; I am your senior, after all. We'll be fighting alongside each other, not against each other.

[[He's smiling, but his eyes are cold. There's something about you that he doesn't quite....trust, but he can't put his finger on it.]]

[Who's fault was it that they started with bad manners?

Though he'll smile, more politely this time. He does show some good manners from time to time.]

Of course not. I mean that in a more competitive way; competitions often tend to make one want to be stronger, after all. [And he does need to become stronger so he can protect himself from his "teammates" one day, if there's a need to.] I'm sorry if it seemed that way.

[[Kato is silent and watching for a moment longer, before he smiles, waving idly with the hand not occupied with the Zorua's ears.]]

Of course. We do need our grunts to be fairly powerful, after all; the trainers these days are getting stronger and stronger. If you think you'll be defeating me any time soon, however, you're sadly mistaken. But I do appreciate a good dose of idealism in my day.

[[Ego? What ego??]]

I understand, of course. It's important to stay strong, especially because so many people want to get rid of us. [Not that he can blame them.] Of course I don't wish to defeat you, but I do wish to become as strong as you... or stronger.

It's good to aim high, after all.

It is. I like to see a little bit of ambition, after all.

[[Why on earth does everyone seem so keen to get rid of us, anyway~? We're so fabulous!]]

I shall await the day you surprise me, then!

[As fabulous as Kato's hair.]

Well then, I will go back to training, then, so that I can accomplish my goals.

[Actually he really is going out to train, because that might help him erase the thought that Kato was pretty as a girl.]
